Compliant to no specific genre, Icky Blossoms are determined to attract with a sound inspired by electro slash blissrock slash retro-pop, delivered with certain artistic flair. Quickly developing a reputation for their fiery live performances, the Nebraskan natives have supported the likes of Crystal Fighters, Diplo, booked a coveted spot at SXSW, and toured with Washed Out – all in 2012 alone.
TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek was recruited to produce their self-titled debut EP, which was released in July of this year. You can stream the album here. Their goal: “..to get people in any possible way to move in any way, shape, or form”.
